Hi I'm Nathan, I just turned 28, am recently single, just moved to the Dallas area, and like making a lot of new friends. I take my work seriously no matter what type of work I am doing. I used to party hard ;) now I've mellowed out quite a bit, I still enjoy having fun, going out to a club or dive with friends every now and then. I like talking with and getting to know new people. I watch movies all the time, read many books at once, and write as often as I can put my mind to it. I do my best to treat the metroplex as if I am a tourist. I go to the museums, the zoo, the theme parks, the bar scene, clubs. I am currently working on seeing it all, but, as time permits, it is a slow tour. I use a lot of commas when I write.

I think you learn a ton more about someone when you meet them in person and so I am skeptical about this process.

I have complicated beliefs about many pertinent issues and can be a butt-head sometimes about it, but I am always open to discussion and in-fact I love it. However if you are militant about your beliefs you should avoid me if possible, we will clash. I consider having a "good time" to be hellacious. I don't like having fun or hanging out with friends. I find going out to bars to be asinine, but on the other note I find staying in to be too pretentious. Movies make me irate and books make me rummage for matches...

Have I scared you off yet? I hope not, all of that was a total joke. I think it's pretty safe to say 89% of the inhabitants of this planet (at least the ones on this site and others) list their hobbies and/or interests as "hanging with friends, having a good time, and even staying in and watching a movie." Seriously, who doesn't like having a good time? I know there are some people out there like that, but that's not who/what I'm talking about. With that said, here we go...

-My friends are like family to me and i'd lay my life on the line for any one of them.
-I try to find humor and fun in everything I do.
-I'm extremely passionate about everything I involve myself in. Most people tend to find that pretty amusing.
-I enjoy bars under the classification of "pub."
-I try to be a gym rat but slack every few months (i'm in my down time now)
-I've been playing guitar pretty steadily since 2001 although i'm not nearly as good as I should be.
-My appearance only matches about 30 to 50 percent of my personality. The rest, i've been told, seems to be pretty contradictory.
-Wise, smart, and cute have all been used to describe my ass.
-When I drink my brains out, I get wild and crazy. So I tend to not drink that much.
-Since I'm on the alcohol subject; dark beer, red wine, and classic cocktails are my absolute favorites.
-I make people laugh a lot, almost always at my own expense. Seeing that written makes me wonder if they're really laughing with me... or at me. hmm.

most of my time is spent being involved with music. i play in two projects right now. i am a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. ive always been told im very laid back but i can also often-times turn into the "ring-leader" through no conscious choice of my own. i enjoy vocabulary words, dry humor, and i am a huge music trivia nerd-hammer. i work part-time and go to school part time. i prefer not living life riding the bench, im usually up for anything that dosnt pose an imminent threat to my health. i always drive with my windows down. im not a very serious person who sits around thinking about 401k's or retirement plans. i am the opposite of being a "worry-wart", as they say.

I am very down to earth. I'm a giver by nature, but don't take my kindness for a weakness. Game recognizes game. I'm easy to get along with as long as your real and upfront with me. Not sure how to truly express the vast array of facets that are one's personality onto a web page, but here goes...

I am a pretty old-fashioned guy for being my age, or so I've been told at times. I am more of a giver than a taker...a bit of a "nice guy". Although I do have a definate wild streak. I am good about letting it out at the appropriate times nowadays, lol.

I don't beleive in stereotypes. People are people, and all individuals. A vast array of varied snowflakes, no two alike. Some like to fit into groups, others tend to go it alone. I feel I am closer to the latter most of the time. I don't like to categorize people, because that makes it so hard to see who the person truly is on the inside.

Hi. I'm 22 and currently a full time college student. I graduated from highschool at 16 and took "a little bit of time off" from school. Hit with the realization that I wasn't getting any younger at 21, I decided to get back to school. It's definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. I think that nothing in life should be a regret, because everything that has happened to me (good, bad, and indifferent) has made me into the person I am today. I'm a liberal conservative, and I get really passionate about politics. I think mulling it all over with a person is a good way to find out their core beliefs.
